ASLEF Statement on Israel & Palestine

We saw the horrific attacks and hostage takings by Hamas against civilians in Israel on 7 October which led to a declaration of war by the Israeli government. Since then, the situation has worsened greatly with Palestinian civilians living in Gaza being collectively punished for the actions of Hamas.

ASLEF condemns both the Hamas attacks and the scale of the response from the Israeli Government.
