Weyman received a standing ovation from delegates.

Over the lunch break, he also spoke to delegates and visitors at a fringe event hosted by BAME Representative Committee Chair San Senik.

Trade unions are at the heart of the fight against racism and fascism and ASLEF is proud to be involved in this work.

Solidarity with Abdullah Öcalan

Delegates took a photograph today to show ASLEF's solidarity with Abdullah Öcalan and the Kurdish people. Öcalan, the Kurdish leader, has been imprisoned since 1999. Find out more about the campaign here.
